While the homeowners association usually takes care of this area, there was a long spell when dead plants weren’t getting replaced. I dug out some dead stuff. This mophead hydrangea isn’t new in 2013, but I planted it the same year we moved into the house. Unfortunately, it was an indoor hydrangea, and I nearly killed it that first summer. It bounced right back the following year and has been very happy in this corner. These are the most blooms we’ve ever had. It’s a beautiful blue that the photo doesn’t really do justice.
