I took this photo from my car during the 1995 windstorm. I lived in Nye Beach, and this was just down the road on Elizabeth Street. The large building in the background is the Whaler Motel. A couple of motels now own the homes in the foreground and rent them out, but back then these were private residences, and one lost its roof.
